As I am sure you all know by now, our publishing rights were taken away on our old facebook page. I've filed an appeal but facebook has a history of unfairly disabling pages so I doubt it will help. We've started a new page by the same name here. While the old page had over 250,000 members, the new one has just barely 7,000. This is a bit of a problem for everyone because before our original page was disabled we lots of companies that wanted to giveaway freebies on our page, knowing that they would get plenty of publicity in return.

Now that our audience has shrunk considerably I am wary to post those pending giveaways knowing that the companies that generously offered to donate those items are unlikely to see a rise in sales because of it. Therefore, I am asking you if you like these freebies and want to continue to have them please invite your friends to join or facebook page.

We also had a project in the works to get thousands of 8x8 high quality cards printed with the breastfeeding logo and mail them out worldwide to be placed in the windows of stores and businesses that respect a woman's right to nurse anytime, anywhere. But again, now that we have lost track of so many members it is probably going to be impossible to raise the money required to do this. The more our page spreads around the more good we can do, thanks to everyone for your support.

  1. I've invited all my friends! Don't worry, I'm sure you will get everyone back on the new page!

  2. Just out of curiosity, did FB accuse you of doing or saying anything to cause them to suspend publishing rights? Or, is it just because fans are posting BFing pictures?

Oh, and a side note: I was watching Sweet Home Alabama tonight on Oxygen and I noticed that they edited out a breastfeeding reference. I was kind of surprised by that--especially considering all the crap that's currently on cable TV.

  3. I think it might have been edited out because of the language used not the reference to breatsfeeding. If we are thinking about the same scene.

  4. I can access both pages.. does that mean the one isn't suspended anymore or am I crazy?
